Job Summary

The Product owner’s responsibilities include researching and determining the clients’ needs to determine which features to include on products/projects and will pitch ideas for product features to stakeholders. The product owner will continue to act as the primary contact between the scrum teams, product development departments and stakeholders. After product completion, the Product Owner will conduct a final review and submit their approval before releasing the product to clients.


Key Job responsibilities:

Defining product vision and providing vision and direction to the scrum team.

Incorporate feature requests into the product roadmap.

Analyze preferences and requests of end users.

Grooming, managing and prioritizing the backlog.

Develop user stories and define acceptance criteria.

Set sprint goals.

Translating stakeholders’ strategies to tasks for development.

Plan releases and upgrades.

Follow the progress of work and address production issues during sprints.

Refine our agile methodology based on results and client feedback.

Gain buy-in from stakeholders.

Keep track of industry trends and learn the market and customers’ needs.


Job Skills:

Hands-on experience managing all stages of the product life cycle.

Technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies.

Team spirit and good communication abilities.

In-depth knowledge of Scrum and Agile Software Development Methodology.

Working knowledge of product development architecture.

Proficiency in the use of analytic tools.

Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent knowledge of user-centred design principles.

Excellent command of English “written/spoken”.

Ability to work with large teams.

Strong personal ownership and ability to set and meet high professional standards, flexible and responsive work style.

Strong communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.

Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Excellent leadership and people management skills.

Ability to identify, create and maintain influential positive, productive stakeholder relationships across your level and above the business.


Job Qualifications:

5 years of Previous working experience as a Product Owner.

BC in Computer Science, Engineering or a similar relevant field.

In-depth knowledge of Agile processes and principles.

Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills.

Excellent organizational and time management skills.

Creative thinker with a vision.

Attention to details.
